STRATEGIES FOR DEVELOPING RELIGIOUS AND MORAL VALUES FOR CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS THROUGH SCIENCE PLAY ACTIVITIES

Abstract
Education is the mother of all human thought, namely to change something bad into something better, from not knowing to knowing. Education in religious and moral values is one part of developing aspects of children’s development that is often neglected. Religious and moral values are part of a child’s self-development which starts from an early age. The aim of this research is to find out the right strategy for instilling religious and moral values in young children through science play activities. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The results of this research are the methods used to provide education on religious and moral values through science activities at the Cipasung Islamic Kindergarten, namely the question and answer method, field trip method, singing method, and assignment method. The science material used is, getting to know the concept of movement, getting to know plants and animals, getting to know the concept of floating and sinking.
